Support the campaign
Local campaigns are small and practical. Contributions pay for lawn signs, leaflets, and getting Kamal's message to every doorstep in Thorold. Whatever the amount, it helps, and it is genuinely appreciated.
Who can contribute
Ontario's Municipal Elections Act sets clear rules:
- Only individuals normally resident in Ontario may contribute, using their own funds.
- Corporations and trade unions cannot contribute.
- The maximum contribution to one candidate is $1,200.
- Contributions are not tax-deductible.
- Every contribution receives a receipt.
Contributions open shortly
The campaign is finalizing its official contribution account, as required under the Municipal Elections Act. Contributions cannot be accepted until that is in place.

Contributions can only be accepted once a candidate's nomination has been filed with the City Clerk. Kamal's nomination is filed and registered with the City of Thorold. Contributions that do not meet the rules above will be returned.
